Cheer for Faith

I'm so glad I get to be a guest blogger on this blog. Cheer is a very difficult sport to do but it depends on how high the level or division you are in. Level 1 and 2 are usually the basics like cartwheels and back walkovers, Level 3 is backhand springs and layouts, and Level 4 are fulls. You have to have perfect timing for all the tumbling and stunts are else you may kick someone in the face, land on them and break you and there bones. You have to practice 24 /7 if you want it to be perfect and at least have practice 2x a week, but if you plan on going to the National High School Cheer Competition (NHSCC) you will at least have practices 2x a week with extra practices and you don't miss the extra practices because that's where all of the changes go down. You have to clear your schedule of almost everything for cheer. Cheer can be the most dangerous sport at times . Girls falling out of stunts on there necks, head , other people, and most of the time it will hurt for days so if you think about doing cheer I suggest having a high pain tolerance.  A lot of people also say cheer isn't a sport but that's for another story.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE8hCaWPbco   Here is a video of all skills from YouTube of Live Oak High School . This video shows how hard cheer can get.

  1. I have a much higher respect for cheerleading after reading this post! I just never really thought about how hard it could get, until now.
