Reflect Greatness

This video is so rich with truth! I love how the rapper, Derek Minor describes our identity, or the reason we exist: to reflect God, reflect greatness. That's powerful! It's so mind blowing and comforting to think that we were made by God. The God who made everything. And our existence is not meaningless. God had a special plan for each of us. That is not something that we should take lightly.

Growing up in church, I heard this a lot and sometimes when I hear things a lot they start to have less impact. But that is opposite of what should be happening in this situation. The reason that this is a frequent topic is because of how important it is! Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Man! The fact that the all powerful God not only knows us but has an incredible plan for us is huge! That is not something that we should brush to the side or take for granted. That is powerful information that we should treasure. God has a plan for us. We were made for greatness. Wow.

Let's do this people! Let's reflect God! Let's live the great lives that God created us for! Lets run this race as fast and as hard as we can. Let's let God mold and shape us into the greatness that he had planned when he shaped us in our mothers womb.

If this post didn't encourage anyone else, it encouraged me. I need to be reminded from time to time of what exactly I am doing here. I need to remember the greatness that I was made for and honor the title of being a follower of Christ. I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Thanks for taking the time to read mine!

  2. I love this! Today's culture is always telling people to conform to specific standards of beauty and personality. But as Christians we have this reminder that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that each of us have been created for a unique purpose. Such a powerful reminder-- thank you for sharing!
